REFUND POLICY
The Omaha Magical Society (OMS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the art of magic, providing educational programming, and preserving Omaha’s magical history. Because we operate as a volunteer-run organization, our refund practices are designed to remain fair and sustainable.
Annual Membership – $20/year (Non-Recurring)
- The annual membership fee of $20 is non-refundable once processed.
- This fee does not auto-renew; members receive a reminder when renewal is due.
- Members may pay for multiple years in advance, though all prepaid dues remain non-refundable.
- Because membership dues support ongoing programs, operations, and community initiatives, refunds cannot be issued if OMS must cancel meetings or alter programming.
20 x $15 Initiative – Monthly Supporter Tier (Recurring)
- The optional Monthly Supporter Tier is $15/month, renewing automatically until cancelled.
- Members must cancel before their next billing date to avoid future charges.
- Refunds for missed cancellations are not guaranteed, but duplicate charges or technical issues may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Donations
Donations are non-refundable, in accordance with nonprofit regulations.
Event Fees
OMS does not charge per-event fees for regular monthly meetings.
If special ticketed events occur in the future, event-specific refund terms will be listed on that event’s registration page.
HOW TO CANCEL A MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION
If paid through WildApricot:
1. Log into your OMS account.
2. Click your name to open Profile.
3. Go to Finances / Invoices & Payments.
4. Select Recurring Payments / Auto-Renew.
5. Click Stop Recurring Payments or Cancel Auto-Renewal.

If paid through PayPal:
1. Log in at paypal.com.
2. Go to Settings → Payments.
3. Select Manage Automatic Payments.
4. Choose Omaha Magical Society.
5. Click Cancel Automatic Payment.

PRIVACY POLICY
The Omaha Magical Society (“OMS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to manage your membership or supporter relationship, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Membership type
- Payment history
- Donation history
- Event participation records
OMS does not store credit card information. All payments are processed securely by third-party processors.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Maintain your membership
- Process payments
- Send meeting reminders and club updates
- Communicate about events or program changes
- Comply with legal and nonprofit requirements
OMS never sells or rents your information.
3. Email Communication
By joining or supporting OMS, you consent to receive OMS email updates.
You may unsubscribe at any time, though this may limit your ability to receive member notifications.
4. How We Protect Your Information
Your data is securely stored within our membership system and accessible only to authorized OMS board members.
5. Data Sharing
Information is shared only with:
- Our secure payment processor
- Our membership management platform (WildApricot or successor)
- Legal authorities if required
We do not share your information for marketing purposes.
6. Member Directory Visibility
Your first and last name, email, and phone number are visible only to active OMS members within our secure member directory to support community connection.

This directory is private and never public.
7. Your Rights
You may request to:
- Review your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Limit visibility
- Request deletion (except where legally required to retain records)

8. Children’s Privacy
OMS does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental involvement.

TERMS OF USE
By joining or supporting OMS, you agree to follow OMS policies, venue rules, and treat all members and guests with respect.
1. Membership & Billing Terms
- Annual Membership: $20/year, non-recurring.
- Optional Monthly Supporter Tier: $15/month, recurring until cancelled.
- OMS does not charge per-event fees for regular meetings.
- Members are responsible for cancelling recurring payments before their next billing date via WildApricot or PayPal.
- Annual membership dues are non-refundable.
- Refunds for recurring charges due to missed cancellations are not guaranteed.
2. Acceptable Use
Members agree not to:
- Misuse OMS website content
- Reproduce OMS materials without permission
- Attempt to breach system security
- Use OMS branding without approval
3. Liability
OMS is not responsible for:
- Personal property loss at events or venues
- Website downtime or technical issues
- Third-party system failures
Participation in OMS events is voluntary.
4. Termination of Membership
OMS may revoke membership for:
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Disruptive conduct
- Repeated policy violations
- Abuse of OMS systems or resources

Payments to OMS are processed securely online.
OMS accepts major credit and debit cards, cash or checks payable to “Omaha Magical Society”

EVENT REGISTRATION PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OMS does not charge per-event fees for regular club meetings.
If a future special event requires payment, instructions will be provided on that event’s registration page.
